We are excited to have your children with us on the Tea House Park playground!
Summer 2014 begins June 23rd and ends August 15th, and runs Monday through Friday 9am --12noon. Participants ages 4-11 will play sports, create arts n'crafts projects, and practice tennis with Bass River Instructors.
Children are grouped together according to age: (4 & 5 year olds), (6 & 7 year olds), (8 & 9 year olds), and (10 & 11 year olds). The WVIS Summer Program is truly old-fashioned fun! It's a simple way for the younger children in our community to be together while the older children in our community take care of them.
WVIS Counselors are all CPR certified and trained to stay with their assigned groups and guide them along their morning. Counselors are supported by Counselors-in-Training (CITs) as well so children are in good hands! Please send your son or daughter with a backpack, water bottle and tennis racket, and apply your own sunscreen beforehand. There are times when they will need a bathing suit on a hot day, so we will let you know. We will send out weekly updates to you regarding the calendar. We do not allow any snacks or food in our Summer Program. If it rains, we do close...and will send you an email with the update.
Please send in all necessary paperwork with your children on the first day: pick up and drop off form, walking field trip and photo release form, and a copy of immunization records if you haven't already done so.
*When picking up your children, please do not turn left from Arbor Street directly into the playground entrance. Per the Wenham Police, we ask that you drive straight down Route 1A, turn left onto Perkins Street, then left by Buker School to turn left onto Arbor Rd., then a final right past the church, and into the Tea House parking lot area.
